Is breakfast included?
Our famous breakfast is optional so if you didn’t select it at the time of booking but would like to add it in, please give us 48 hours notice before your booking commences. To update this, please call us on 02 6829 2010
When is checkout time?
Check In Time: 2pm – 6pm. Please advise us of your arrival time so we may be able to greet you
Check Out Time: 10.00 am. If you require a later check out time, please call us on 02 6829 2010 to arrange.
What’s the Weather like?
Lightning Ridge is beautiful in Winter – the perfect escape from the cold. During Summer it’s hot and dry, but you’ll always find somewhere to cool down. Visitors love the free artesian bore, with relaxing hot therapeutic waters, open 24 hours, or the town’s 5-star swimming pool & Water Theme Park.

What is there to do in Lightning Ridge?
Try your luck at opal mining or tour the fields and learn our local history. We also have “The Big Opal”, Amigo’s Castle, Bottle House and the John Murray Art Gallery in town. If you feel like cooling off, check out the Artesian Bore Baths to unwind and enjoy the local outback scenery.

How can I cancel my booking?
If you have had a chance of circumstances and need to cancel your booking, you can either cancel it through the online engine (if you booked this way) or call us on 02 6829 2010. Please make sure you cancel at least 14 days before the booking commences. The deposit, one nights accommodation is non-refundable however if you cancel with 14 days of the stay, a refund on the rest can be arranged.
